To connect Salesforce for Slack to a Salesforce org: Connect Salesforce with Slack

A Slack admin must approve and install Salesforce for Slack before it’s available in your workspace.

You can connect Salesforce for Slack to a Salesforce org by entering /sfhq-connect and following the on-screen instructions. If you're already connected, this slash command replies with your connection status.

Alternatively, to connect to a Salesforce org:

  1. From the Apps section in the Slack sidebar, select Salesforce.
  2. On the App Home tab, click Connect your account.
  3. In the browser window, click Connect.
  4. Enter your Salesforce username and password, and click Log In.
If your org uses a custom domain, log in by clicking Use Custom Domain instead.
  5. Select the workspace where you want to use the app and allow access.
  6. When prompted to give the app access to your workspace, click Allow.
  7. Salesforce prompts you that Slack wants to access your Salesforce account. Select I agree to allow Slack to access my Salesforce account, and then click Allow.

Salesforce for Slack is now connected to Salesforce, and the browser redirects you back to the app in Slack.
