Learn how to install Student Success Hub for K-12, including the core managed packages, unmanaged metadata configurations, and sample data.
The installation includes the Student Success Hub and K-12 Architecture Kit managed packages, which deliver core functionality, as well as required metadata.
Coordinate with your Salesforce Account Executive to make sure that you meet all the installation criteria.
- We recommend that you execute all of the steps in the installer plans, including optional steps. Completing all steps reduces errors and ensures that you have all of the configurations in place for customizing your org. For more information about the installation plans and steps, see Student Success Hub K-12 Installation Reference.
-
We recommend that you install SSH into a new org that has no customizations. Installing SSH into an existing org can affect your custom metadata.
- Do not deploy Student Success Hub directly to a live production environment. Instead, deploy to a sandbox environment, customize configurations for your school or institution, and then migrate to production.
- Go to the Student Success Hub K-12 installer page.
- Log in to the correct Salesforce org.
- Wait for the installer to retrieve information about the org.
-
Choose an installation plan.
- Base Plan
- Installs the minimal, core packages required by Student Success Hub K-12 orgs. Required.
- Full Configuration Plan
- Deploys metadata configurations that help you to get Student Success Hub up and running. Install the base plan before installing the full configuration plan. Recommended for all customers.
- Sample Data Plan
- Inserts sample data that you can use to test or demo features. Install the base and full configuration plans before installing the sample data plan. Recommended for partners.
-
Review the installation steps and then run the installation.
The installation can take some time to complete. Check your email for confirmation that it was successful.
