Install Data Integrity

Learn how to add the Data Integrity managed package to your Salesforce org.

After you confirm that you have the prerequisites, you’re ready to install Data Integrity.

Salesforce recommends installing in a Sandbox environment before installing into a Production org. For more information, see Create a Sandbox in Salesforce Help.

  1. Log out of all other Salesforce orgs. You may want to use an incognito window to ensure you install in the correct org.

  2. Go to the Data Integrity installer page.

  3. Click Install Data Integrity - View Details.

  4. Click Log In to Start Pre-Install Validation and select your org type. We recommend a Sandbox org for your initial installation.

  5. Log in to the org.

  6. Click Allow.

  7. Click Install. You’ll see a confirmation when the installation is complete.

  8. Continue to Authorize Data Integrity. Or, if you installed in a Sandbox org, continue to the next section for additional configuration.

Select Your Default Country (Required)

When you first launch Data Integrity, select a base country or territory.

You can't change your country once you set it. This selection controls your address update and data storage features:

  • Data from European countries is stored within the European Union (E.U.) in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • The National Change of Address (NCOA) updates feature is only supported in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Your base country or territory does not affect the language shown in the user interface.

Supported Languages

Data Integrity provides out-of-the-box translations for French, German, Dutch and English (UK). In addition to the standard Salesforce objects and setup that normally appear correctly when you turn on localization, the underlying objects, fields, and options also appear in that language that you selected.

Configure Your Sandbox to Use Data Integrity

If you installed Data Integrity in a Sandbox org, you need to update the API endpoint in that org. If you didn't install in a Sandbox org, you can skip this step.

In your Sandbox org:

  1. Click Setup, then click Setup.
  2. From Setup, enter Remote Site Settings in the Quick Find box, then click Remote Site Settings.

  3. Next to the Api Endpoint remote site name, click Edit.

  4. In the Remote Site URL field, enter https://data-integrity-sandbox.sfdo-insights.sfdc.sh

    • For non-US based organizations, add this additional endpoint: https://data-integrity-sandbox-frf.sfdo-insights.sfdc.sh
  5. Click Save.
  6. From Setup, enter Custom Metadata Types in the Quick Find box, then click Custom Metadata Types.

  7. Next to the API Endpoint label, click Manage Records.

  8. Click Edit.

  9. In the URL field, enter https://data-integrity-sandbox.sfdo-insights.sfdc.sh

  10. Click Save.

  11. Continue to Authorize Data Integrity.

Note
Note You’ll need to reauthorize the Data Integrity app if you change the Remote Site Setting or Custom Metadata Types. Additionally, you’ll need to re-enter the NCOA provider license information on the Settings page.
