## Install Data Integrity

Learn how to add the Data Integrity managed package to your Salesforce org.

After you confirm that you have the [prerequisites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleview?id=sfdo.ip_before_you_install_data_integrity.htm), you’re ready to install Data Integrity.

Salesforce recommends installing in a Sandbox environment before installing into a Production org. For more information, see [Create a Sandbox](https://help.salesforce.com/articleview?id=data_sandbox_create.htm&type=5) in Salesforce Help.

1. Log out of all other Salesforce orgs. You may want to use an incognito window to ensure you install in the correct org.
2. Go to the Data Integrity [installer page](https://install.salesforce.org/products/data-integrity).
3. Click **Install Data Integrity - View Details**.
4. Click **Log In to Start Pre-Install Validation** and select your org type. We recommend a Sandbox org for your initial installation.
5. Log in to the org.
6. Click **Allow**.
7. Click **Install**. You’ll see a confirmation when the installation is complete.
8. Continue to [Authorize Data Integrity](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.ip_authorize_data_integrity_user.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before you can use Data Integrity, you must log in as a Salesforce user with specific permissions—also known as an integration user—to authorize the Data Integrity application to access your Salesforce org. Data Integrity activities, such as automated address updates, are attributed to this user."). Or, if you installed in a Sandbox org, continue to the next section for additional configuration.

## Select Your Default Country (Required)

When you first launch Data Integrity, select a base country or territory.

You can't change your country once you set it. This selection controls your address update and data storage features:

- Data from European countries is stored within the European Union (E.U.) in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- The National Change of Address (NCOA) updates feature is only supported in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Your base country or territory does not affect the language shown in the user interface.

**Supported Languages**

Data Integrity provides out-of-the-box translations for French, German, Dutch and English (UK). In addition to the standard Salesforce objects and setup that normally appear correctly when you turn on localization, the underlying objects, fields, and options also appear in that language that you selected.

## Configure Your Sandbox to Use Data Integrity

If you installed Data Integrity in a Sandbox org, you need to update the API endpoint in that org. If you didn't install in a Sandbox org, you can skip this step.

In your Sandbox org:

10. Click **Save**.
