Close a Gift Commitment in Education

Close a gift commitment when you no longer need to track it.

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Education Cloud

User Permissions Needed
To close a gift commitment:	Modified Education Cloud Full Access permission set

From the App Launcher (), find and select Gift Commitments.
Select the gift commitment that you want to close.
Click , and then select Close Gift Commitment.

After you close a gift commitment, the status of the unpaid or failed gift transactions is updated depending on the value of the Formal Commitment Type field.

Value of Formal Commitment Type Field	Status of Unpaid or Failed Transactions
Verbal	Canceled
Written	Written Off
