Turn On Person Accounts

Set up person accounts to represent individual students, staff, applicants, alumni, and other users in Education Cloud.

In Education Cloud, data about individual people, such as students, faculty, alumni, and external contacts, is stored in the Account object as Person Accounts. Person Accounts combine account and contact information into a single record. See Enable Person Accounts.

Important When you enable Person Accounts, create these record types for the Account object: Business Account, Secondary School, and College. See Create Record Types.
