Omnistudio Prerequisites for Education Cloud

Get ready to use Omnistudio in Education Cloud.

Before you customize the application form, make sure that you complete the prerequisites.

1. Learn about and turn on Omnistudio Standard Designer.

2. Assign the Omnistudio Admin permission set licenses to yourself.

We also recommend that you use these resources to learn the basics of Omnistudio, Omniscripts, Omnistudio Data Mappers, and Integration Procedures.

To test Omnistudio in an existing sandbox, either refresh the sandbox to add Omnistudio licenses to the sandbox, or match production and sandbox licenses without a sandbox refresh.

Important Clone the Education Cloud Omnistudio components that you want to use, even if you don't intend to customize them.

Some labels aren't translated due to technical limitations.

Troubleshoot Omniscript Errors

If you get an error message that says that an Omniscript is not working, deactivate and then reactivate the Omniscript.

1. In the App Launcher, find and select Omniscripts.
2. In the Omniscripts list, select the Omniscript that was mentioned in the error message.
3. Click Deactivate Version.
4. After the Omniscript is deactivated, click Done.
5. Click Activate Version.
6. After the Omniscript is activated, click Done.
