Save time and improve the experience for applicants, recommenders, and admissions staff. Recommender experience simplifies the recommendation process, from sending a survey invitation to populating the individual application task with recommendation details, and enabling recommendation reminders.

Note To test the recommendation experience, register on your Education Portal as an applicant, start an application, and then request a recommendation. This process creates the contact and recommender records that cause the flows to run.

Flow	What it does
Admissions: Invite Recommender to Complete Recommendation Survey	Sends an email inviting an applicant's recommender to complete a recommendation survey.
Admissions: Link Application Recommender to Survey Subject	Adds a survey subject to the application recommender record.
Admissions: Update Application Recommender and Recommendation with Survey Response	Updates the related application recommender status and links the survey response to a new application recommendation record.
Update IAT Status According to Recommendation	Updates the individual application task status based on the application recommender status.

Feedback Management Configuration
Recommender experience flows use Salesforce Feedback Management surveys to collect recommendation details and Omnistudio components show them on the Individual Application page.
Recommendation Form Configuration
Use the Salesforce Feedback Management and Education Cloud features to send recommendation surveys to applicants' references.
