Configure State and Country Picklists

Set up state and country picklists to let users select states and countries from a predefined, standardized list instead of entering state and country data into text fields.

State and country picklists ensure that you have consistent data. It also makes it easier to use this data for reports. See Implementing State and Country Picklists for more information.

Note

• If you implement state and country picklists after setting up service territories and appointments, you must update the state and country in all service territories created before the implementation.
• Updating the state and country in all service territories created before the implementation also ensures no errors related to locations while saving changes to flow templates.
• When you edit existing appointments, update the state and country before saving. If you don’t update the state and country before saving, it can result in unexpected behavior.
