- Provide User Profile Access to the Asset Field
Grant field-level access to the Asset field on Service Resource to allow users to create or manage resources in Salesforce Scheduler. - Update the Service Resource Page Layout for Asset Scheduling
Give users access to Asset Scheduling on the Service Resource page. - Update the Default Asset Sharing Setting (Optional)
The default sharing setting for assets is Controlled by Parent, which requires a parent account and/or contact to be defined for an asset. However, assets do not always require parent accounts. To remove this restriction, change the default sharing setting. - Create Assets in Salesforce Scheduler
Create assets such as meeting rooms and equipment. - Make AssetsAvailable for Scheduling
Add your assets as service resources to make them available for scheduling.
