# Enable Asset Scheduling in Salesforce Scheduler

It’s easier than ever to book rooms and equipment, such as MRI machines or dialysis chairs, with Asset Scheduling.

    Grant field-level access to the Asset field on Service Resource to allow users to create or manage resources in Salesforce Scheduler.

    The default sharing setting for assets is Controlled by Parent, which requires a parent account and/or contact to be defined for an asset. However, assets do not always require parent accounts. To remove this restriction, change the default sharing setting.
