This feature is a workspace that’s external to your Salesforce org and requires an Agentforce Operations license. To purchase an Agentforce Operations license, contact your Salesforce account executive. |
Agentforce Operations has four task types. Each type has a different purpose and configuration panel.
| Task Type | Use When |
|---|---|
| Standard | You want to assign work, collect information, or route a decision to a person, team, role, or AI agent. If you assign the task to an AI agent, the task must have a saved plan before you can publish the blueprint. See Assigning Tasks to AI Agents in Agentforce Operations. |
| Approval | You want a formal approval step with a defined action if the approver rejects. |
| You want to send an automated email at a point in the workflow. Email is an automation task type, accessed from + Automation in a stage. | |
| Integration | You want to connect the workflow to an external application. Integration tasks are automation task types, accessed from + Automation in a stage. |
