There are a few ways to track how recipients engage with your Distributed Marketing and
Alerts messages. To get engagement data across your individual and bulk sends, check the
Distributed Sends Performance tab. To view engagement highlights on lead, contact, and person
account record pages, check the Unified Engagement History dashboard.

Distributed Sends Performance
Find the dashboard under the Distributed Sends Performance tab. If the tab
isn't visible, find it from the App Launcher or add it to your navigation bar. You can only
view data for your own individual and bulk sends.
Choose a view:
- Individual Email — Engagement data for your one-to-one email
sends. Keep the Total Recipients filter set to between 1 and
1.
- Bulk Email — Engagement data for your bulk emails. The
Total Recipients filter defaults to greater than 1; change the
value to filter for larger sends.
- Bulk Email Recipient Activity — Engagement data for individual
recipients and how they engaged with a message.
Apply filters to show specific data:
- Activity Type — The type of engagement, such as opens or
clicks.
- Engagement Date — When recipients engaged with the email, rather
than the date shown in the dashboard.
- Send Mechanism Name — The system that sent the email. Keep this
as Distributed Marketing for results relevant to Distributed
Marketing sends.
Unified Engagement History Dashboard
If Unified Engagement History is set up in your org, a Salesforce admin can add the
dashboard component to record pages. Use this component to get engagement highlights at a
glance when viewing lead, contact, and person account records. See Turn On Unified Engagement History.
