Considerations for Agentic Campaigns

To use agentic campaigns, consider supported functionality, usage, limitations and allowances, limits, and other issues.

Language and Locale Support

Agentic campaigns support the languages and locales supported on the Salesforce generative AI platform, as described in Einstein Generative AI Supported Languages and Locales.

Large Language Model Support

Agentic campaigns support the models on the Salesforce generative AI platform, as described in Large Language Model Support. By default, calls use sfdc_ai_DefaultBedrockAnthropicClaude46Sonnet. The natural language segment creation uses llmgateway_BedrockAnthropicClaude45Sonnet for part of the process.

Trust Layer Service Support

Agentic campaigns support these Trust Layer services.

Service Description
Dynamic Grounding with Secure Data Retrieval Supported

Prompt Defense (system policies and prompt injection detection)

Data Masking Supported
Toxicity Detection Supported
Audit and Feedback Supported

Ask your Salesforce admin about which Trust Layer services are enabled in your org and available for agentic campaigns.

Region Support

Agentic campaigns support the geo-aware models supported on the Salesforce generative AI platform, as described in Geo-Aware LLM Request Routing on the Einstein Generative AI Platform.

Note
Note Geo-aware routing is used, but regional model availability isn't universally guaranteed and can result in an error rather than silent fallback if the org has Enable In-Region Model Requests Only turned on.

Usage Types Consumed by Agentic Campaigns

Agentic campaings use generative AI and Data 360 to ingest, store, and process data. You’re billed in these categories when you use agentic campaigns. Before deployment, work with your Salesforce account team to confirm license availability and plan credit usage.

Tip
Tip This feature has access to Digital Wallet, a free account management tool that offers near real-time consumption data for enabled products across your active contracts. Access Digital Wallet and start tracking your org's usage. To learn more, see About Digital Wallet.
Digital Wallet Consumption Card Usage Type Description Notes
Data 360 Credits Segment Generation Natural language segment generation uses Data 360 credits.
Einstein Requests Prompts/Prompt Builder See Agentforce and Generative AI Usage and Billing If fungible metering is turned on, consumption is limited to Flex Credits and doesn’t use Einstein Requests.
Flex Credits Prompts/Prompt Builder See Agentforce and Generative AI Usage and Billing Billable Usage Type for Salesforce Personalization
Personalization Credits Rate Cards A personalization decision is responsible for determining who’s eligible to receive a personalization response using optional targeting rules. A decision is also responsible for determining which content to return in a decision response, for example, a set of product recommendations or a banner image. Each personalization point can contain multiple personalization decisions targeted at different sets of individuals. Decisions can be prioritized so that if a person qualifies for more than one, Personalization returns only one decision.

Data Cloud One Support

Agentic campaigns aren't supported in Data Cloud One companion orgs.
