You can clone a segment so you can reuse all or part of it in another campaign. This approach saves you time because you don't have to create an entire segment.

- In the Audiences section of the main navigation, select User Segments | User Segments.
- Select the segment you want to clone.
- Click Clone.
- Change the name of the existing segment to a new Segment Name that describes its purpose.
- If necessary, select a category from the Select Category dropdown.
- If necessary, select a rule from the Select Rule dropdown.
- Configure any additional parameters.
- Create additional rules as necessary.
- Click Save.
Example
As an example, suppose you want to create segments of users from specific locations who have a lifetime value of more than $1500, and have been on your site three times in the past month. Create the initial segment, clone it, and change only the location for the other segments.
