Before you can use local weather forecasts and conditions to target assets, complete these setup items.

Enable the Weather option in Setup > Einstein >Einstein Content
Selection. See Set Up Einstein Content
Selection for more information.
An admin must activate weather in Setup. After it’s activated, you can choose the temperature unit to use to configure temperature-based targeting in the business unit.
- Sync customer profiles with location information.
- Identify appropriate Asset Classes as Weather Enabled to show the appropriate asset options. See Manage Asset Classes for more information.
- Create weather-related asset attributes in the asset class.
- Add weather attribute values to assets.
Now, you can target assets based on the weather forecast and conditions for a subscriber’s location. You can disable the weather feature permanently at any time. This action removes all weather-related metadata. If you don’t want to lose your weather-related metadata, you can pause the feature instead. See Disable or Pause the Einstein Content Selection Weather Feature for more information.
