Revoke an MFA Verification Method for Marketing Cloud Engagement

If a user loses their multi-factor authentication (MFA) verification method, a Marketing Cloud Engagement admin can disconnect it for them. Each user account must have one registered method for access. If the user hasn't registered additional methods, they're prompted to set up a new method the next time they log in.

Note
Note For most tenants, Salesforce has integrated MFA into the Engagement login experience and it can’t be disabled. If MFA hasn’t been enforced for your tenant yet, Salesforce strongly recommends that you enable it on your own as soon as possible. See Enable and Require MFA for Marketing Cloud Engagement for more information.
  1. Log in to Engagement.
  2. Hover over your name and click Setup.
  3. Click Users, then select User.
  4. Click the user record to manage.
  5. To disconnect a user's registered method, click Revoke next to the method, and click OK.

If you disconnect a verification method, the user can register the same method again.
