Activate your promotion on the day when you want to launch the promotion for the target audience. After the promotion is activated, advocates can start joining the promotion from the promotion's start date.

Manage B2B Referrals permission set AND Edit permission on:

- On the Promotions related list of a referral program, click the promotion name.

Click Activate.
It takes a few minutes for the promotion to be activated. You can review the activation status in the Journey tab of the promotion.
After a promotion is activated advocates who belong to the promotion's referral program and belong to the promotion's target audience can join the promotion and refer other businesses from the promotion's start date. Referred parties can also start to engage with the brand for the first time by using the advocate's referral link or code.
