Workflow for the Loyalty Welcome Journey
- Shopper joins the Loyalty Program by signing up online or in-store. (1)
- The Commerce and OMS systems send the member and order information to Loyalty Management using the API. (2)
- Loyalty Management receives member enrollment and updates membership tiers and points based on the defined loyalty programs. (3)
- A Salesforce data entry event identifies the new loyalty program member and triggers a Marketing Cloud Engagement Loyalty Welcome journey. (4)
Understanding the Flow of Data
- To send member information and reward transactions to Loyalty Management from Commerce, OMS, and POS systems, implement API processes.
- To replicate loyalty data in Marketing Cloud Engagement, implement Marketing Cloud Connect and synchronize Loyalty Management data extensions.
- To enter subscribed loyalty members into a Loyalty Welcome Journey, use a Salesforce Data Entry Event.
