Limitations for Unstructured Content Harmonization
Harmonization Process:
- See Unstructured Data File Formats and Connectors for a list of supported file types and sizes for unstructured data.
- The harmonization pipeline currently skips files that fail to harmonize, but still indexes these files for search.
- The harmonization process doesn’t yet automatically generate a table of contents; file-splitting isn’t available yet.
- The harmonization process currently doesn’t retain document styling.
- You can’t currently view real-time progress or status of harmonization processing.
Content Viewer Experience:
- The Content Viewer doesn’t currently convert PDF files into HTML. It displays them using the built-in PDF viewer.
- Non-PDF files that aren’t harmonized automatically open in the original source view.
- The Content Viewer reformates the harmonized output into a consistent, unified style, discarding the unique styling of the original source.
- Relative links currently appear broken. See Content Harmonization Troubleshooting Guide
