# Content Harmonization Known Limitations

Certain functionalities aren't available for content harmonization. Keep these limitations in mind while harmonizing content and viewing it on the Content Viewer.

### Required Editions

## Limitations for Unstructured Content Harmonization

**Harmonization Process**:

- See [Unstructured Data File Formats and Connectors](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_unstructured_data_connect.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Data 360 supports multiple file formats and connector types for unstructured data.") for a list of supported file types and sizes for unstructured data.
- The harmonization pipeline currently skips files that fail to harmonize, but still indexes these files for search.
- The harmonization process doesn’t yet automatically generate a table of contents; file-splitting isn’t available yet.
- The harmonization process currently doesn’t retain document styling.
- You can’t currently view real-time progress or status of harmonization processing.

**Content Viewer Experience**:

- The Content Viewer doesn’t currently convert PDF files into HTML. It displays them using the built-in PDF viewer.
- Non-PDF files that aren’t harmonized automatically open in the original source view.
- The Content Viewer reformates the harmonized output into a consistent, unified style, discarding the unique styling of the original source.
