Use the B2C Commerce Reports & Dashboards Traffic Sources dashboard to compare revenue, orders, and conversion for shoppers who reach your storefront from an external source. The dashboard is available as a selection on the Traffic tab.
The dashboard reports visits acquired from an external platform, such as search, social, email, or chatbot. It doesn't include direct traffic.
Set the date range, site, and other dashboard filters the same way you do on other Reports & Dashboards pages.
Traffic and Conversion Trends
The dashboard shows these metrics for the date range you select. Each metric shows its value and a trend. Select a metric to plot it on the larger trend chart.
- Revenue
- Orders
- Average Order Value
- External Visits
- Conversion Rate
Conversion rate is the order conversion for the external visits in the current view.
Top Selling Products
The Top selling products table lists products purchased during visits from the sources in the current view. For each product, the table shows the product ID, product name, units sold, revenue, and the percentage of revenue.
Revenue by Medium
The Revenue by medium chart is a stacked bar chart. With no medium filter, the chart shows a bar for each medium, such as Search, Social, Email, and Chatbot. When a medium pill is applied, the chart shows that medium as one bar, and each segment is a source in the medium. For example, the Social bar is divided into social sources such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Select Revenue, Orders, or Traffic to change what the chart measures.
Traffic Sources
The Traffic sources table lists each source and its medium. For each source, the table shows visits, orders, revenue, conversion rate, revenue per visit, and average order value (AOV). Select a column header to sort the table.
To focus the dashboard on one source, click the down arrow at the end of that row. The trend, top-selling products, and medium chart then show only that source. The applied filters appear as pills. Filtering to a source also applies that source's medium. For example, a social source applies both the Social medium and that source. Remove the source pill to compare every source in the medium.
