Set the Payments Instance Status for B2C Commerce

Choose whether your B2C Commerce instance processes test or live payments.

1. In Business Manager, click App Launcher , and then select Merchant Tools | Site | Commerce Apps | App Catalog.
2. In the Installed Apps section, for Salesforce Payments, click Manage.
3. In the Advanced Settings card, for Instance Status, click Change.
   
4. Select the instance status.
   • Test–Use in development or sandbox instances to verify that Salesforce Payments works as expected after you modify your payment configurations or add a payment type. No real charges occur in test mode.
   • Live–Use in production instances to process transactions. Real charges occur in live mode.
5. Save your changes.
