Copy a Tableau Next Metric Image to Your Clipboard

Copy a snapshot image of a metric to your clipboard. From your clipboard, you can then paste the image for quick sharing in presentations, documents, or wherever you need it. The snapshot is taken while running the item with your filters and the latest data.

User Permissions Needed
To copy metric images: Tableau Unmetered Consumer or Tableau Next Consumer or Tableau Unmetered Self-Service Consumer or Tableau Next Self-Service Consumer permission set
Note
Note The image has your personal view with the latest data, including any confidential data. Consider that, after sharing, others can see and share your personal view.
  1. Locate the metric that you want to copy.
  2. From the dropdown menu on the metric, select Copy Image.
