# Copy a Tableau Next Metric Image to Your Clipboard

Copy a snapshot image of a metric to your clipboard. From your clipboard, you can then paste the image for quick sharing in presentations, documents, or wherever you need it. The snapshot is taken while running the item with your filters and the latest data.

### Required Editions

1. Locate the metric that you want to copy.
2. From the dropdown menu on the metric, select **Copy Image**.
