You can add existing assets such as data connections, data model objects, dashboards, and semantic models, to new or existing Tableau Next workspace.

- In a Tableau Next workspace tab, click Add and select Data.
- In the Add Data dialog, under Add Existing, select Data Object or Data Connection.
- From existing assets select the one you want to add to the workspace.
- To narrow your search, filter the assets by workspace or type or enter a name in the Search box.
- Click Add.
The selected data asset appears on the Workspaces page. A small icon is shown next to the asset in the workspace that signals that the asset is a referenced asset and it lives outside of the workspace shown.
