You’ve been asked to create sales visualizations with several groupings, such as Region and Segment. You're going to reuse the existing visualization that you can update as grouping requirements change.
- Model Hypothetical Scenarios by Using Parameter Inputs
Enter text, numbers, or dates into parameter widgets for lookup and modeling hypothetical scenarios. Dashboard calculations update instantly by using your custom values rather than just existing data.
- Navigate Dashboards with Parameter Actions
Parameter actions enable you to map visualization fields to parameters, transforming static charts into interactive navigation tools. This setup enables users to trigger dashboard updates by clicking data points, streamlining data exploration within a single interface.
