You’ve already charted data just the way you like in a report. Instead of re-creating the chart, use it in a dashboard widget.

- Create or edit a dashboard.
- Click + Widget and select Chart or Table, or
edit an existing one by clicking
on the widget. - From the Add Component or Edit Component menu, select Use chart settings from report.
The dashboard widget displays the source report chart. To customize the chart, deselect Use chart settings from report or edit the report chart.
Note Dashboard
charts and report charts have certain differences. For example, report charts display more data
points than dashboard charts. Dashboard charts are still subject to dashboard-specific
limitations even when using chart settings from a source report.
