Both the 12-column and 9-column dashboard gives you plenty of room to lay out data in easy-to-consume ways.

Any dashboard can have 12 or 9 columns.
When switching to a 9-column dashboard from a 12-column dashboard, even with 12 widgets in a single row, the dashboard updates its layout. No need to remove or move widgets before switching.
When switching to a 12-column dashboard from a 9-column dashboard, three empty columns appear on the right side of the dashboard.
- Create or edit a dashboard.
- To switch between a 12-column and 9-column layout, open the Properties menu by clicking
.
- Under Dashboard Grid Size, choose the number of columns.
- Click Save.
- Click Save.
The dashboard layout updates.
