Retention policy executions aren’t reversible. But you can access or manually retrieve retained data using Heroku’s Postgres dataclips or a third-party database tool such as psql or pgAdmin. You can then import this retrieved data into Salesforce using the Data Loader as either a CSV or JSON file.
- Confirm Successful Execution Using Run Logs Tab
Use the Run Logs tab to check that an execution was successful, identify missed steps, and resolve errors. - Identify and Resolve Failed Execution
When an execution fails, check that Heroku is properly installed and connected. Then run a report or query to identify the failed records and find possible next steps to resolve the error.
