After you create and publish a preference form, you’re ready for customers to complete and submit it. You can host your form on an Experience Cloud site, an external website, or a static web page. After you publish the form, create tokens to give your users access to it.

With Experience Cloud, in the Experience Builder, you can drag the Preference Manager component onto your site and publish right away. You can also change your users’ ability to use access tokens at any time.
To host your form on an external site, copy the HTML code from the Preference Manager dashboard, and then embed the form into your site.
Generate access tokens from Salesforce record IDs with REST API, Apex, or a token generator on the Preference Manager dashboard. Use access tokens to send a custom and secure preference form link to your external website users and to Experience Cloud users who aren’t logged in. Users don’t need an access token when they’re logged in to the Experience Cloud site the form is hosted on.
