Enable Negative Point Balance for Non-Qualifying Currencies

Enable currencies to accommodate negative points balance for members. Turn on the negative point balance setting in Salesforce. When you enable negative point balance, members can redeem points beyond their existing points balance.

User Permissions Needed
To allow members to have a negative point balance:	Customize Application permission AND Loyalty Management permission set

Note When you enable the Members Can Have a Negative Point Balance setting, the loyalty program can’t hold points in escrow or consolidate members’ fixed non-qualifying points in batches.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Loyalty Management, and then select Loyalty Management Settings.
2. Turn on Members Can Have a Negative Point Balance.

If you disable the negative point balance setting, a member’s negative point balance remains unchanged. The points that members earn for subsequent transactions are used to adjust their negative balance.
