Calculate the quantity of inventory that must be kept in reserve based on the
transaction journal records created for a partner. The partner uploads their point of sale
document for your perusal. Here, they mention the units that have been sold to the end-customer.
However, instead of directly adjusting the remaining quantity of unsold inventory you have on
record for that partner, you can place the mentioned quantity on hold, that is, keep it on reserve
till you can assess and approve the transaction record.

In the PUI record, the On Hold Quantity and the Remaining Quantity are adjusted based on the
onhold debit ledgers. If the on hold ledgers are approved, the remaining quantity remains
unchanged, and the onhold quantity is released.
If the onhold ledgers are rejected, the remaining quantity and the onhold quantity are
released.
