Configure the Procedure Plan for Pricing

Associate the pricing procedure with a procedure plan and activate it so that pricing runs during order capture.

Required Editions

  1. From Setup, navigate to Procedure Plan | Procedure Plan Definitions | New.
  2. Enter the procedure plan details.
    • Title: Pricing
    • Process Type: Order Capture (or MACGOrderCapture)
    • Primary Object: Order (Order)
    • Context Definition: AdvOrderSalesTxnContext__stdctx
    • DefaultReadContextMapping and DefaultSaveContextMapping: OrderEntitiesMapping
  3. Add a procedure plan section.
    • Name: Pricing, Section Type: Pricing Procedure
    • Phase: Pricing, Resolution Type: Default
    • ReadContextMapping and SaveContextMapping: OrderEntitiesMapping
    • Procedure: Select Retail List Price Procedure
  4. Click Save and activate the procedure plan definition version (IsActive = true).
