Required Editions
| Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Loyalty Management enabled. |
When you adjust traceable currency points, the action creates a corresponding debit or credit ledger.
- For positive adjustments, credit ledgers are created similar to an accrual transaction. When you adjust a traceable currency, the currency subtypes aren’t updated, which means that the credit loyalty ledgers don’t contain a value for the currency subtype.
-
For negative adjustments, debit ledgers are created and processed similar to any debit transaction. The event type is Manual Adjustment.
When you adjust points to debit points from a member, the member's points balance is updated in real time. When you adjust to credit points, points are credited in real time but the points balance is updated in these ways:

| The Salesforce org has real-time non-qualifying points balance update turned on and non-qualifying points are credited. | The points are automatically credited to the member's points balance as soon as you make the adjustment. |
