To get your partner account managers (PAMs) and partners sharing CRM data, install the PRM for Slack app in your workspace.
After you install the app, all PAMs can install the app from the Slack Marketplace and from the PRM for Slack Setup page.
Contact your Salesforce admin for an app installation link that you can send to partner users.
Important To install PRM for Slack, you must both be a Salesforce user with the
appropriate permissions and be in the correct Slack workspace.
- Enable PRM for Slack in Slack
Enable the PRM for Slack app in Enterprise Grid settings. Ensure that partner workspaces are enabled to accept Slack Connect invitations. - Enable Partner Account Managers to Invite Partners
Connect your partner account managers (PAMs) with partners in partner channels. To let PAMs invite partners to channels in PRM for Slack, assign the required permissions in Slack Connect. To manage permissions in Slack, coordinate with your Slack Enterprise Grid admin. - Approve App Installation
To start using PRM for Slack, approve the app for installation in your Slack workspace. - Set Up the PRM for Slack App for Partner Account Managers
To get your partner account managers (PAMs) using PRM for Slack, install the app in your company’s Slack workspace. - Giving Users Access to the PRM for Slack App
After you install PRM for Slack in your workspace, all users in your workspace with the appropriate permissions can access it.
