Use the Shift Capacity and Coverage Subagent

Use the Shift Capacity and Coverage subagent to find underfilled volunteer shifts, review open roles, and identify available volunteers who match those roles. Volunteer managers can access the agent from any page in the Nonprofit Cloud CRM.

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available with: Enterprise, Unlimited and Developer Editions with an Agentforce or Einstein for Sales, Service, Platform, or Industry add-on license, where Volunteer Management is enabled. Requires each user to have the Agentforce or Einstein add-on to access the actions.

With the Shift Capacity and Coverage subagent, a volunteer manager can use the agent to:

Identify when volunteer shift capacity is low.
Get a clear view of which roles are unfilled.
See who is available for unfilled roles.
Easily identify and match the best qualified volunteers for open roles.

Here are some examples of utterances that a volunteer manager can use with the agent.

Request Example	Result
`Are there any shifts next week with sign-ups below 75%?`	The agent returns the Job Position Shift records for shifts over the next seven days that are below the 75% capacity threshold.
`Do we need to fill any shifts this weekend for the Food Pantry volunteer initiatives?`	The agent returns the Job Position shift records that are below 100% for the stated volunteer initiative and dates.
`Do any job position shifts from now until the end of May have insufficient sign-ups?`	The agent returns the Job Position Shift records that take place through May 31st with capacity that’s below the set threshold.
`Are any shifts for the Summer Gala lower than 50%?`	The agent returns the Job Position Shift records for the Summer Gala with their current capacity.
`Find volunteers for the Beach Clean Up shift on [date]` OR `Find volunteers for JPS-0-00001234`	The agent returns how many volunteers matched the criteria of the shift. You can then create a list view to use platform functionality to reach out to the volunteer about signing up for the shift.
