Assign Apex Class Access to the Student Profile

Give students access to the Apex classes they need to use a Student Success Hub portal.

Note
Note Requires a Customer Community Plus or Customer Community Plus Login license, such as through Experience Cloud for Learner Success.

To use Student Success Hub custom components in the portal, students need access to the Apex classes that control the components. Otherwise, they may encounter errors trying to do things like scheduling appointments and managing Success Plan Tasks.

Student Success Hub assigns Apex class access to the student profiles and permission set that it installs.

  1. From Setup, search for and then select Profiles.

  2. Click the Profile Name for your student profile.

  3. Click Enabled Apex Class Access.

  4. Confirm that these Apex classes are listed. If necessary, click Edit and move any missing classes to the Enabled Apex Classes list. Then, save your changes.
