Review Workspace Improvements

Learn about the improvements for Review Workspace in Grants Management (version 1.21) in Summer '22.

• Grants portal users see the same Review Workspace you configured in Salesforce.
• We improved functionality and stability of editing the Review Workspace. Users now need to save updates to the workspace because autosave is turned off.

Invite Collaboration in Grants Portal

Your grantseekers can now invite collaborators to help complete the application.

• Use the Grants Management Flow Installer to add the Grants Management: Send Invitations to Collaborators (Sample) and Grants Management: Share Account and Contact with Collaborators (Sample) flows.
• Follow the instructions in Enable Funding Request Collaboration.
• In Salesforce CRM:
  • If grantmakers need to Invite a Grantseeker to Apply in addition to managing collaborators, edit your Funding Request Lightning page layouts and replace the Invite Applicant component with the Funding Request Button Group component. This new component includes the Invite Applicant and Manage Collaborators buttons.
  • Assign the FundingRequestInvitationController Apex permission to the Funding Program Portal guest user profile to allow unauthenticated users to decline collaborator invitations.
  • Assign FundingRequestInvitationController and FundingRequestCollaboratorController Apex permissions to the Grantseeker Plus Login profile.
• In the grants portal, add the Community Manage Collaborators Button component to your Funding Request object.

Reviewers in Grants Portal

External reviewers can now review Funding Requests in the grants portal.

• Use the Grants Management Flow Installer to add the Grants Management: Email the Assigned Reviewer (Sample) flow.
• Follow the instructions in .Configure Portal for External Reviews
• In Salesforce CRM, update your Review page layouts to include Display Start Date and Display End Date.
• In the grants portal:
  • Add the Reviews object, and set the Reviews Record List to use the Standard layout for both In Progress Reviews and Submitted Reviews list views.
  • Assign the Grants Management: Review Workspace - Evaluate Funding Request permission set to users submitting reviews in your grants portal.
