Changes

  • We introduced tribute gifts made in honor or memory of a person. Add tributes to your Giving Pages or enter the tribute details when processing gifts in NPSP Gift Entry. Learn more about adding tribute fields to your Giving Pages in Create or Edit a Giving Page. Be sure to update your users' permissions for the new fields listed in the Import or Enter Tribute Gifts section of Nonprofit Success Pack Summer '22 Release Notes.

  • We added the ability to customize Other Amount in your Giving Pages or remove the field altogether.

  • We added the ability to preselect the donor cover option on Giving Pages.

  • We added an option to redirect donors to your own thank you page in Giving Pages setup.

  • We updated the Settings page to allow admins to update the Organization Name.

  • We added date range fields to Payments Management. You can now filter the payments by the date a payment was created and narrow down recurring donations by the next installment date.

  • We now support Worldpay VAP Platform as a payment provider for Elevate.

Recurring Donation Improvements

Learn about the improvements for recurring donations Elevate-NPSP Connector (version 1.29) in Summer '22.

  • We added functionality in Elevate to support the new Lapsed Recurring Donation automation in NPSP. Learn how to set up this NPSP feature in Automate Recurring Donation Status Changes.
  • Elevate now creates or updates Recurring Donations in Salesforce using NPSP Data Importer. Previously, Elevate directly created or updated Recurring Donation records. As part of this work, we improved error handling so validation errors show on NPSP Data Import records instead of in the NPSP Error Log.
  • We added permissions for the Recurring Donation NPSP Data Import fields to the managed Elevate NPSP Connector permission set.
  • We improved how NPSP Data Import handles Recurring Donation errors. If Elevate sends an update for a Recurring Donation that doesn't exist in NPSP, Elevate creates a new Recurring Donation.

Health Check Enhancements

  • Health Check in NPSP now provides a clearer error message when you're not connected to Elevate.

Fixes and Minor Enhancements

Review the fixes and minor enhancements Elevate-NPSP Connector (version 1.29) in Summer '22.

  • When you don't set an Opportunity Stage through your integration user's record type assignment or with a custom field in Elevate, NPSP Data Importer uses the value in NPSP Settings for Opportunity Stage When Fully Paid. Learn more in Configure Opportunity Payments.
  • Payments and refunds are now processed in the same transaction. Previously, if refunds and payments were processed in the same transaction, refunds would fail with an error stating that the corresponding payment cannot be found.
  • We added the new NPSP Data Importer fields for tributes—donations made in honor or memory of someone—to the Elevate Integration User and Elevate NPSP Connector (managed) permission sets.
