If you don't see the Gift Default Soft Credit related list on the commitment
page, add it to the Related tab.

From the commitment page, open the Related tab.

Next to Gift Default Soft Credits, click New.

Select the recipient of the gift soft credit.

Enter either the amount or percent of the gift soft credit.
The soft credit can be greater than 100 percent of the gift.

Select the role of the soft credit recipient. For example, select Matched
Donor.

Save your work.
This gift default soft credit applies to all gifts that are a part of
the selected gift commitment.
