Configure Community User Permissions on the Grantee Portal When Using Grantee Reports

Make sure your grantseekers, grantees, and System Administrators have access they need to standard and custom objects and fields supporting Grantee Reports.

Note Salesforce is retiring foundationConnect. As part of this product retirement, the ability to renew subscriptions to this product will end on January 31, 2025, and the product will be deactivated on January 31, 2026. Configure the Grantee Portal community user object and field permissions if you are using Grantee Reports by editing the community user profile. Here's how to configure these permissions.

Click then Setup.
Enter Profiles in the Quick Find Box, then click Profiles.
Click the Profile Name of the Grantee Portal community user. For example, click fC Partner Community User .
Click Edit.
To configure an object's permissions, scroll down to the object and specify the minimum object permissions then click Save.
To configure field-level security, scroll down to the Field-Level Security section and click View on the object you want to configure.
Click Edit.
Specify the minimum field-level security permissions, then click Save.

Note These tables document the minimum object and field access recommended for Grantee Reports in foundationConnect. Without these permissions in place, your users may experience errors. If you have additional fields added in a field set, those fields will need permissions as well.
