When a prospective student submits an application to your institution, the application goes through the review and approval process. First, the admissions officer verifies that the application is complete and that the provided information is acceptable. Next, reviewers for your institution go over the application and recommend whether or not to admit the applicant. Finally, the admissions director reviews the recommendations and makes a final decision.
- Verify Applications
When you verify an application, you look at the data and documents that the applicant has provided and check them for completeness. - Review Applications
When an applicant submits an application to your institution, the person who processes applications checks that the applicant provided all of the required information. With all of the information in place, the application is ready for review. - Make a Final Admissions Decision
After the application has been through the review process, it's ready for a final decision. You make the final application decision directly on an individual application record. We recommend that you access the individual application from the Admissions Console.
