To function properly and give your users a consistent experience, Education Cloud requires picklist values on certain fields.

Review Academic Level Picklist Values

Use picklist values that work best for your institution. Some common values are included with Education Cloud, but you can add or remove values as needed for your institution.

Review the picklist values for the Academic Level field on these objects:

  • Learning

  • Learning Course

  • Learning Program

  • Learning Achievement

  • Learner Profile

Important Enter the same values consistently for these objects, as the values appear in several places within the learner portal.

Review Application Category Picklist Values

Review the picklist values for the Application Category field on the Preliminary Application Reference and Individual Application objects.

Use picklist values that work best for your institution. Some common values are included with Education Cloud, but you can add or remove values as needed for your institution.

Review Participation Status Picklist Values

Review the picklist values for the Participation Status field on the Course Offering Participant object.

The Participation Status field is a dynamic picklist, which means that you create the values. For course registration, degree planning, and GPA calculation to work as designed, use these values. For reference, the table includes the corresponding API values that are used in each feature.
