Migrate Alert Data to Education Cloud

Use Data Loader and Developer Console to migrate data from the record alert object in your source org to your target (Education Cloud) org.

1. Export record alert data from your source org.
   1. Log in to your source org
   2. From Setup, click Developer Console.
   3. Click Debug, and then click Open Execute Anonymous Window.
   4. Enter and run this code:

      WhatIdTypeExtractorBatch_Alert batchJob = new WhatIdTypeExtractorBatch_Alert();
      Database.executeBatch(batchJob);
      

   5. Use Data Loader to export data from the SSH_Shadow_sfal_Alert__c object into a CSV (.csv) file.
2. Import record alert data into your target (Education Cloud) org.
   1. Log in to your target org
   2. Use Data Loader to import the data from the CSV file.
   3. From Setup, click Developer Console.
   4. Click Debug, and then click Open Execute Anonymous Window.
   5. Enter and run this code:

      NewWhatIdUpdateBatch_RecordAlert batchJob = new NewWhatIdUpdateBatch_RecordAlert();
      Database.executeBatch(batchJob,40);
