Create Permission Sets for Internal Users

Create and assign permission sets for processors and internal reviewers.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Education Cloud
User Permissions Needed
To assign permission sets: Education Cloud Full Access
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
  2. Clone the appropriate permission set for the corresponding internal users.
    • For users that require full access, such as processors, clone the Education Cloud Full Access permission set.
    • For internal reviewers, clone the Education Cloud Reviewer permission set.
  3. Enter a label and an API name for the cloned permission set.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Select your cloned version of the permission set, and then click Object Settings.
  6. Click Document Checklist Item, and then click Edit.
  7. For Object Permissions, make sure that Read, Create, Edit, and Delete are enabled, and then save your changes.
  8. Similarly, make sure that Read, Create, Edit, and Delete permissions are enabled for these objects.
    • Individual Application Task Item
    • Person Education
    • Person Examination

These permissions also enable processors and reviewers to edit, view, confirm, and submit applications.
