Create Competencies

A student's competencies are crucial for guiding their development. Students can track this progress in the portal throughout their academic journey, including competencies acquired through coursework, cocurricular and extracurricular activities, and off-campus experiences like internships and community service.

User Permissions Needed
To create competencies:	Education Cloud Full Access permission set

Before you begin:

Set Up Your Org for Career Planning and Life Goals
Define values for the Category picklist in the Competency object using the Object Manager. By default, these picklists have no values.

From the App Launcher, find and select Competencies.
Click New.
Enter a name.
Select the category of the competency.
Enter a description.
Save your changes.
