Set Up Data Pipelines for Accounting Subledger

Complete the requirements to enable Data Pipelines for Accounting Subledger.

REQUIRED EDITIONS AND USER PERMISSIONS
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Accounting Subledger
User Permissions Needed  
To assign permission sets:

Assign Permission Sets

AND

View Setup and Configuration
To enable Data Pipelines:

Data Pipelines Base User permission set

AND

System Administrator profile

Accounting Subledger’s accounting sets rely on the Data Processing Engine to generate accounting data. To use Data Processing Engine, assign at least one active user to the Data Pipelines Base User permission set, and turn on Data Pipelines. That user can then manage accounting sets and run Accounting Subledger jobs using flows or invocable actions.

Assign Users to the Data Pipelines Base User Permission Set

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
  2. Click Data Pipelines Base User.
  3. Click Manage Assignments and then Add Assignments.
  4. Select the checkboxes next to the names of the users to assign to the permission set, and then click Assign.
  5. Save your changes.

Enable Data Pipelines for Accounting Subledger

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Pipelines, and then select Getting Started.
  2. Turn on Data Pipelines.

If you can't find Data Pipelines in Setup after you're assigned the Data Pipelines Base User permission set, refresh the browser tab. See Enable Data Pipelines
