Only admin users can activate and deactivate accounting sets.
Activate Accounting Sets
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Accounting Sets, and then select Accounting Sets.
- Next to the accounting set to activate, click
, and then select Activate. - Click OK.
Because activating accounting sets sends requests to the Data Processing Engine for data validation and creation, it can take some time to complete.
Edit or Deactivate Accounting Sets
To edit accounting sets, deactivate them first. You can't edit or delete accounting field mappings related to an active accounting set. Salesforce ignores the deactivated accounting sets' source records when creating accounting data. After you're done with your edits, reactivate the accounting sets. As with other significant changes, we recommend testing your changes in a sandbox before deploying them.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Accounting Sets, and then select Accounting Sets.
- Next to the accounting set to edit, click
, and then select Deactivate. - Click OK.
Because deactivating accounting sets sends requests to the Data Processing Engine for data validation, it can take some time to complete.
- Click
again, and then select Edit. - Make your edits and then save your changes.
- From the Accounting Sets page, next to the accounting set to activate, click
, and then select Activate. - Click OK.
