| To share appointments with service resources: | Workforce Scheduling Admin |
Appointment sharing gives assigned resources the record access they need to do their work, based on service appointment status.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Workforce Scheduling, and then select Sharing.
-
On the Assigned Resource Sharing tab, enable Share
Appointments with Assigned Resources.
When your org uses a private or read-only sharing model, this setting gives assigned service resources access to their service appointments and the related work orders, work order line items, visits, and interactions.
-
Select the service appointment statuses that trigger sharing. You can select different
statuses for field or on-site appointments.
When an appointment enters one of these statuses, Workforce Scheduling shares it with the assigned resource. When the appointment leaves these statuses, Workforce Scheduling removes that access. By default for on-site appointments, Scheduled, In Progress, and Completed are selected. By default for field appointments, Dispatched, In Progress, Completed, and Cannot Complete are selected.
